When do pubs and clubs close?

Standard pub closing time is 11:30pm Sunday–Thursday and 12:30am Friday–Saturday. Most nightclubs stay open until 2:30–3:00am. Late bars with extended licenses serve until around 2:00am.

Is Dublin easy to get around on foot?

The city centre is very walkable most major attractions, restaurants, and nightlife are within a 20-minute walk of each other. The Luas and Dublin Bikes fill any gaps quickly and cheaply.

What currency is used?

Ireland uses the Euro (€). Cards are accepted almost everywhere. Contactless payments are standard. ATMs are widely available throughout the city centre.

Is Dublin safe at night?

Dublin city centre is generally very safe. As with any city, stay aware of your surroundings late at night, especially around busy nightlife areas on weekends. Keep phones either in you hand or safely secured in your bags in crowds. Luckily REZz is located on a buzzy street which is well lit at night!

What’s the tipping culture?

Tipping is appreciated but not obligatory. In restaurants, 10–15% is customary if service is not included. In pubs, tipping is not expected at the bar but you can round up for table service.

What’s the drinking age?

The legal drinking age in Ireland is 18. Photo ID is required at most venues a passport or driving licence is accepted. Some venues operate strict ID policies regardless of age.
