We are spoilt for choice this August as Dublin city hosts some wonderful events and amazing acts from both here and abroad!

Bulmers Live at Leopardstown

Bulmers Live at Leopardstown is back with 5 nights of exciting flat racing followed by top-class live music performances – Thursday nights never looked so good! Racing, sun, fun and music – it’s the perfect way to kickstart the weekend with friends.

Bulmers Live at Leopardstown has a reputation for bringing the best International and Irish acts to the stage and this year is no different.

You can expect five days of exhilarating horse racing followed by live entertainment from some of the biggest names in music: Spice Girl Melanie C, legendary hitmaker Bonnie Tyler, trad-house pioneers Chasing Abbey, Irish album chart topper Lyra and one of Ireland’s favourite live acts Hermitage Green will all take to the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown stage on dates throughout July and August.

One of the highlights of the Irish summer, the Dublin Horse Show effortlessly combines sport, style and socialising. Returning from the 14-18th August 2024, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Dublin Horse Show is regarded as one of the best equestrian shows in the world, a celebration of Ireland’s affinity with the horse. Combined with hundreds of browsing opportunities, a range of quality food offerings in restaurants, bars and cafes, live music, daily entertainment and an array of family fun in the Kids’ Zone, the Dublin Horse Show is where summer memories are made.

Set within the majestic 42-acre showgrounds of the RDS Ballsbridge, the Show offers a truly unique experience to all visitors.

Georgia Tech will return to Ireland this year for the second time since 2016 when they defeated Boston College by 17 points to 14 in the Aviva Stadium. Florida State University, known as the Seminoles, will play their first ever game in Ireland this year.

GAA All-Ireland Finals, Croke Park

Croke Park, 4th & 11th of August

The All-Ireland LGFA Championship Finals will take place on Sunday 4th August and the All-Ireland Camogie Championship Finals will take place on Sunday 11th August at Croke Park.

Niall Horan will bring his “THE SHOW” tour to Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th August 2024. Irish One Direction star turned platinum-selling solo artist Originally from Mullingar, Ireland, Niall has sold over 80 million records and toured the globe multiple times as part of the iconic group, One Direction.

The most anticipated gig of the summer for so many, playing 4 nights at Croke Park from the 29th of August – 2nd of September, Cold Play’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour will be the perfect end to the summer in Dublin. Since the first Music Of The Spheres World Tour date in March 2022, Coldplay have sold more than 7.5 million tickets – the most for any tour over the last two years.
