Joy in the Park – One Day Festival

When: Sunday 23rd July

Time: 11am – 6pm

Where: Fitzgerald Park, Cork

This festival is a one day event not to be missed as it is a celebration of life! Returning for its 2nd year, Joy in the Park brings with it a whirlwind of events hosting music and entertainment to those who join the party at Fitzgerald Park. This event highlights the importance of mental health and wellbeing by bringing the community together to have fun and share in joy.

 Joy in the Park promises a quirky and eclectic mix of live music, spoken word, storytelling, children’s entertainment, circus, workshops, wellness activities alongside a delicious food market.

That sounds like my Sunday is sorted!

Method & Madness Irish Whiskey Tasting

When: Monday 24th July

Time: 7pm – 9pm

Where: Costigan’s Pub

Get ready to join in on some whiskey tasting action with Method and Madness in Costigan’s Pub!

Open to everyone (over the age of 21), this social evening is all about tasting some incredible whiskeys, you don’t have to be an expert to come along.

Joined by Barrett Stapleton, Distiller at Middleton Micro Distillery, and Matthew Smyth, Prestige Whiskey Ambassador and co-host of the podcast The Centre Cut, you are guaranteed to experience a truly amazing experience! 

Costigan’s Pub is the perfect setting for lively conversation while you soak in the rich aromas of oak, malt and spice of the Method and Madness Whiskeys. Let Barret and Matthew show you four exceptional whiskeys while you slip into a sensory journey with each sip. 

Costigan’s Pub won’t let you go hungry, with finger food being served on the night. They would also love for you to join them after 9pm for live music by the one and only Roy Buckley!

Mallow Arts Festival

When: Wednesday 26th of July – 30th of July

Time: all day

Where: Mallow

Mallow Arts Festival is returning, and for its 5th year!

A festival free of charge and open to all filled with activities from morning to noon and night. 

With all different kinds of events, you can expect to hear lots of music, partake in a variety of workshops, have a go at some dancing, watch live performances and listen to talks. You will be surprised to see how much you can do! Fun for all the family and friends.

Echo X ROR Women’s Day Summer Social

When: Saturday 29th July

Time: 10.30am – 1.30pm

Where: Echo Athletics

A summer social event not to be missed, supported by Gym + Coffee, Pro Coffee and Femfuelz! Women empowering women for the usual morning filled with fun workouts, chats, good craic and lots of delicious food.

Also included in this event, is a chance to upskill and grow confidence in lifting weights with their lifting workshop. Who doesn’t love a bit of confidence in themselves?

And that’s not all!

Join in on the fun later that evening for their social night in Crawford and Co. with prosecco on arrival. Did someone say Girlz night? Yes please!

This is a summer social not to be missed!

Boat Cruise & BBQ

When: Saturday 29th of July

Time: 5pm – 12.30am

Where: Custom House Quay and Crawford & Co.

I can not think of a better way to spend a summer Saturday evening than to spend it boating in Cork Harbour with a BBQ and cocktails after!

Relax and soak in the views and summer sun on your Cork Cruise, enjoy the tunez of the live DJ and make use of the fully stocked drinks bar on board. Join everyone afterwards in Crawford and Co. for a mouthwatering BBQ and cocktails and let the evening run away!

An action packed evening starts with the boat departing Custom House Quay at 5pm, boat cruise until 7.30pm and arriving at Crawford & Co. for BBQ and cocktails at approximately 7.45pm!

Hmmm I am getting hungry just thinking about it!
