Cork Pride Festival

Cork Pride is returning to Cork City from July 30th to August 6th 2023, with this year’s theme of “30 YEARS ON”.
Cork Pride is a vibrant and exciting celebration of the LGBT+ Community which is held annually in the heart of Cork City. Each year gets bigger and better with everyone coming together to show love for one another, show acceptance, and resilience, bringing together everyone no matter who they are. It is a celebration of diversity and inclusivity!
Over the years the Festival has grown in many different ways through attendance, popularity, and success making it the main regional LGBT+ Pride Event in Ireland. Run by the community for the community, this festival is not to be missed making it one of the most important events each year in Cork!

INDIEPENDENCE IS BACK!! The August bank holiday is sorted with this all weekend festival. This festival features music to comedy, a small cinema and SO MUCH MORE! Being a ticketed event, this is bound to be an extraordinary experience full to the brim with well known artists and lots of craic with friends.

Kinsale Regatta Festival
When: 3rd to 7th of August
Time: All Day
Where: Kinsale
Kinsale Regatta Festival is the oldest regatta in Ireland and this year they are celebrating their 277th year! With activities on both land and sea, this festival is guaranteed to be busy with ocean yachts to mixed dinghy racing, swimming races, road racing, sailing, fancy dress parade, and the traditional water carnival. Fun for everyone!

Hermitage Green
When: 8th of August

The renowned Irish group made up of five members are bringing their international tour to Cork! Join fellow music lovers to enjoy their first full-length album including songs that reached the charts including Quicksand and Not Your Lover.

Cobh Peoples Regatta

Returning for another year of fun, Cobh Peoples Regatta is a maritime themed festival located in the beautiful seaside town of Cobh, located on the outskirts of Cork. This festival likes to mark the last of the summer sailing season by celebrating with cruiser and dinghy racing along with lots of music, good food and plenty of craic!

Cork on a Fork Fest
When: 16th to 20th of August

Yummmm, did someone say food? Well Cork on a Fork Fest is back and is the queen of all food festivals! Supported by the Cork City Council, Cork on a Fork returns for 5 days of feasting and enjoying the best of food and flavours that Cork has to offer. Cork is jam-packed with food and drink experiences and this festival works its magic to show them all off! There’s plenty to see and do during this fest, now is your chance to try something new. Taste your way through Cork City with various masterclasses, tastings, talks, special events and fun for all the family!

Ironman Festival
When: 18th to 20th of August
Where: Youghal
The Ironman Festival is said to push you to your limits. This 3-day event is back once again to entice the fittest of the fittest to take part in their events, including sea swimming, cycling, and running all across Youghal. With both the IRONKIDS and IRONMAN open to anyone who wants to sign up and take part. The IRONMAN where everyone knows your name!

Cork Burlesque Festival

Back for their 2nd year running, Cork Burlesque Festival is a weekend full of glamour and glitz, full of performances by the best burlesque dancers around the world.
With something to enjoy each night tickets are available for purchase via Cork Arts Theatre.
